The gentle lytic chemistry of the iSWAB™-DNA buffer preserves high-quality DNA, suitable for complex genomics applications including Sanger and Next Generation Sequencing (NGS).
The kit ensures a high yield of double-stranded, long-fragment DNA with minimal bacterial contamination, making it ideal for diverse research needs such as population genomics, cancer research, and HLA typing. Its non-invasive nature allows for easy self or assisted collection in less than 5 minutes, accommodating all age groups from infants to the elderly.
The iSWAB™-DNA Collection Kit is stable at room temperature (15-30°C) for up to 60 days, reducing the need for cold chain transport and making sample handling more cost-effective. The device is barcoded for easy traceability and is compatible with both manual and automated processing systems.
