Each kit includes a collection device pre-filled with 400 µL of non-toxic iSWAB™-DNA buffer and a proprietary insert to optimize specimen release. The device facilitates swab-free transport, making it suitable for both self and assisted collection in less than 5 minutes. The iSWAB™-DSC Kit is suitable for all age groups, including infants, toddlers, and the elderly. It provides high-quality DNA samples, free from human gDNA and PCR inhibitors, with stability at room temperature (15-30°C) for at least 60 days. Ideal for a range of applications including population genomics, cancer research, HLA typing, and DNA sequencing, the kit ensures reliable and scalable sample processing.

Storage and Stability: Pre-collection stability is 3 years at 15-30°C. Post-collection, the sample remains stable at room temperature for 60 days and can be stored at -20 to -80°C for extended periods.
