The AFYS3G Lambda8 is a manual laser marker capable of marking tubes, racks, caps, slides, and materials like aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium. It offers high-resolution, durable markings resistant to chemicals, abrasion, and extreme temperatures, ensuring absolute sample traceability without the need for labels or ink ribbons. The Lambda8 can even mark labware directly out of a -80°C freezer. The Lambda8 can be used to engrave any shape, logo, text or sample ID directly onto the surface of a tube. Consequently, the markings are resistant against chemicals, mechanical abrasion and temperatures between +100ºC and -196ºC. Overall the system ensures the absolute traceability of samples.
