Accuris™ UV Transilluminators Features
Accuris™ UV Transilluminators are designed for clear, high-contrast gel visualization, making them an essential tool for molecular biology and electrophoresis applications. Their 302nm midrange UV wavelength effectively excites gels stained with Ethidium Bromide, SmartGlow™, SYBR® Green, and other common fluorescent stains, ensuring sharp, visible bands.
Durable, Easy-to-Use Design
Each unit features a scratch-resistant UV filter glass that provides an even, high-contrast viewing surface while ensuring durability and ease of cleaning. A hinged UV-blocking safety cover protects users from UV exposure and can be adjusted for convenient gel access.
Versatile Models for Different Applications
- E3000: Compact (10.5-inch width) yet offers a 16 x 19 cm viewing surface, ideal for both large and small gels. Equipped with dual intensity settings to reduce DNA damage during long exposures.
- E3100: Small footprint, 16.5 x 13.5 cm filter glass, compatible with SmartDoc™ Imaging Enclosure for smartphone-based imaging.
- E3200: Large 21 x 26 cm viewing surface, high-powered 14W UV bulbs for enhanced sensitivity, and a continuous UV intensity adjustment knob for precise control.
Enhanced Safety and Viewing Options
All models incorporate an acrylic UV-blocking cover for safe gel examination. For additional protection and precise band cutting, SmartBlue™ Plus Viewing Glasses (sold separately) provide enhanced UV and blue light blocking.
